Research commissioned by The Works revealed that the dreaded chorus of ‘I’m bored’ is parroted 126 times in almost half of homes over the school summer holidays leaving 82% of parents feeling overwhelmed by the challenge of keeping their children entertained in the school Summer hols. 40% also admit they want to limit screen time.
Enter… The Boredom Board to tackle the summer holiday boredom and make screen-free time easier. The campaign introduces three new recruits including five-year-old Jaskirat, appointed Chief Family Officer, seven-year-old Freddie named Head of Rainy Days and seven-year-old Coco-Rae who’s Outdoor Activity Director.
Bringing together PR, social and influencers, this campaign is all about fueling creativity and giving families fresh ideas, and we can’t wait to see what our mini execs dream up next.
